So, I really should not be complaining. I am in an incredible city, doing incredible things. Really, I wouldn’t trade this opportunity for anything, here in London. What do I have to complain about? Nothing.
But, sometimes, your heart is somewhere else. Not constantly, but when it’s reminded of where it belongs, it leaves for a moment, or longer.
A good friend of mine shared this video with me. Music overlaid on top of scenes from the city, my city, by the bay, San Francisco.
Seems incredibly appropriate that the song is called “Land of 1,000 Chances.” I feel like there’s an opportunity there for me to say something insightful about San Francisco and the mentality of the bay, but the words aren’t formed yet. But I think the feeling comes across nicely.
